Supervise staff, perform planning and completion procedures while assisting the partners in the completion of audits
Assist in the completion of audits by performing complex and other workpaper sections as needed
Assist in the completion of audits by performing initial detailed workpaper review
Assist in the completion and supervision of reviews and compilations for financial statements
Assist in the completion and initial detailed review of tax returns for individual, partnerships, corporations and non-profit entities
Interact with clients in a professional manner. Be the lead and primary contact with clients in coordinating communications for audits, reviews, compilations and tax returns
Be the leader of team engagements. Be able to provide constructive feedback to staff and assist in their development
Have the ability to handle a large workload, prioritize and be accountable for work performed
Work in a paperless computer environment and have knowledge of Microsoft Office
Work in a team environment and maintain a fun positive attitude
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a college degree in accounting or equivalent field
Qualified candidates should have a CPA license, or be close to certification (completion of CPA exams and pending license is preferred)
Qualified candidates should have at least 1-2 years or prior public accounting experience
Qualified candidates should have a strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS and/or tax law
Qualified candidates should be considered a team player, pleasant to work with, and willing to work OT when needed
Qualified candidates should also be willing to travel (travel is expected to be no more than 4-5 weeks a year)
